  Dr. Barnhart is very knowledgeable and caring. He doesn't beat around the bush. I saw him for a consult and had surgery 2 weeks later. I saw Dr. Barnhart after dealing with an orthopedic surgeon in Peoria who took a year of my time to decide I needed surgery only then to schedule it 2 months out. I know some people shy away from the small hospitals and "small town" Dr.s but you will not regret it if you go to Dr. Barnhart. His office staff and clinical staff are caring and always answer any questions quickly. My only complaint after my surgery was I wish the hospital that he uses would have had knowledgeable nurses regarding ortho surgery. It seemed as though none of them knew how to care for me after the type of surgery I had. I had to have someone at the hospital with me at all times. If I had not done this, my experience would have been awful as far as the hospital.
  The CMA n nursing staff were not trained in caring for an ortho patient after surgery.
  You will not regret going to Dr. Barnhart for all your ortho needs. Wonderful Dr.
